Vans Skate Serving Up Another Collaboration On Our Plate
Another collaboration drop, but this one comes with a twist. This sneaker tries to express the dynamic root systems of banyan trees that are found in the city of Hong Kong.
With VICTORIA being founded in 2015, a Hong Kong-based skate brand that has brought itself to where it is from solid foundations and, of course, hard work. Calling on the difference between the East and West of the city, it uses contrasting expressions for inspiration, calling on contemporary techniques to bring together the traditional elements of the brand.
VICTORIA has come together with Vans Skateboarding for a Skate Half Cab collaboration, and it's looking dope. With the mark of the urban jungle of Hong Kong, this release is a rare one, staying true to their heritage and pushing the Asian creative landscape.
Exploring the high energy and precise footwork, this collaboration features a tonal black suede upper, accented by mid panels marked with illustrations of the dynamic root system. Further detailing comes in the form of a contrasting orange eyelet, co-branded Half Cab labels, tongue tags, heel license plates, and so many more.
We can give you all the details you just got to get the shoe. November 12 is the date you need to put in your diary for this drop.
