Berlin Has The Worst Spots (But We Found These)
Berlin is one of the most famous skate cities in the world.
But let’s be honest — it’s not always because the spots are perfect.
A lot of Berlin street skating is about making the most out of what you find.
Cracked ground.
Random obstacles.
Weird architecture.
Tourists walking through your line.
Spots that look amazing from far away but fall apart the second you actually try to skate them.
And somehow, that’s exactly what makes skating Berlin so fun.

For this Sunday mission, the DOSE crew met up at Gesundbrunnen Station and started the day with no big plan — just cruising through the city, searching for whatever spots appeared along the way.
The crew for the day: Deo, Isidor, Nico, Vincent, and special guest Zeta, who joined us for a birthday skate session.
First stop: Flakturm Humboldthain.

After making the climb up, the crew got a view over Berlin before heading back down to hunt for spots around the area. A few crusty ledges, some stairs, and plenty of random people accidentally walking through clips — basically the perfect Berlin street skating experience.
After picking up Zeta, the birthday mission continued.
The next spot was a nearby parking garage with a strange obstacle that definitely wasn’t designed with skateboarders in mind. The dimensions were questionable, the setup was awkward, but that’s exactly the kind of challenge street skaters love.
When the first plan didn’t work out, the crew did what skateboarders always do:
Find another spot.

The next plaza had everything needed for a proper session — a ledge, stairs, a rail, and that classic Berlin concrete feeling. Nothing fancy, nothing perfect, just an obstacle waiting to be skated.
Of course, it wouldn’t be a birthday session without cake.
Things quickly got messy when Zeta received a surprise face full of birthday cake. Luckily, the frozen leftovers survived the 30-degree heat, so nobody had to completely sacrifice the dessert.

After cruising through the city, checking out DIY spots, and catching the U-Bahn, the crew finished the day under the trees at a hidden spot near Amrumer Straße.
Shade.
Cold drinks.
Good friends.
And a few final tricks before calling it a day.
No perfect skatepark.
No perfect spots.
Just another Sunday skating through Berlin.
