Berlin Street Mission: Victory Column to Soviet War Memorial

A summer day in berlin with Gino Körner and the crew

The plan was simple: meet up at Bellevue, grab a coffee, and make our way to one of Berlin’s most recognizable landmarks — the Victory Column.

With Gino Körner (@lambor_gino) joining the crew, the session started before anyone was really ready. Three hours of sleep, rising temperatures, tourists everywhere, and no real warm-up. Just straight into skating.

The Victory Column spot looked perfect at first glance. Big stairs, a classic Berlin backdrop, and plenty of possibilities. The only problem: the ground had other plans. Small rocks and rough patches made every attempt a little more unpredictable, but the crew kept pushing and started stacking clips.

After the first spot, the mission continued just around the corner at the Soviet War Memorial. A completely different setup — smooth ground, wide open space, and a spot that was way too good to ignore. The only obstacle this time wasn’t the ground… it was the amount of people watching.

Some tourists were hyped, some weren’t too happy about the session happening around them. Either way, the crew kept skating.

Another day of chasing spots, dealing with the unexpected, and making the most out of whatever Berlin throws at you.
