ACTIVISION ANNOUNCES A TONY HAWK'S PRO SKATER CONCERT

A remastered version for a combination of the first two Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater games was announced earlier this year, getting many an old-school gamer excited. The game is going to be released on September 4 with an updated roster including the likes of Riley Hawk, Tony’s son. Don’t worry, all the original skaters are still there. Geoff Rowley isn’t going anywhere. If people weren’t excited enough, the game’s publisher, Activision, has announced a concert to try and get people even more hyped for the game.

Don’t worry. Nobody is trying to make you go anywhere for this concert. The whole event will be done virtually, so you can watch it online from your own home. Tune in on Tuesday July 28 at 6:00 PM ET for a concert you can enjoy from home. Musicians who will be performing include Machine Gun Kelly, Chaii, and Rough Francis.

Now, if you’ve played Tony Hawk Pro Skater before, you might be wondering what’s with that music. Shouldn’t we be getting Goldfinger performing “Superman?” Where’s the turn of the millennium punk and pop punk? Well, Activision has said that during the concert they will be revealing details on new music for the releases. For the die-hard fans of the original soundtrack, that’s alarming. Can’t we just enjoy our classic pop punk in peace? Still, if this concert sounds exciting for you, then this is the show for you to check out.
