Brought to you by Michael N. Rodriguez, “Untitled” is the perfect end of summer compilation; it’s a seamless blend of sun-soaked visuals, an eclectic soundtrack, sign-of-the-times shots of face masks, and young skaters throwing down some serious hammers.

The video premiered on ensembleroom.com, where you can also find a gallery of stills, writing, and other ephemera from the people featured in the video. Whether it’s the GIFs, black and white portraits, or even the scribbled game of tic-tac-toe, these extras are a unique glimpse into the everyday lives of Seven Strong, Joseph Campos, Kyle Teh, Ryan Rodriguez, and Patrick O’Mara.

As you watch, be on the lookout for some famous spots. Patrick O’Mara does a back 5-0 to back tail 5050 down the bank at LA High School and Seven Strong gives us a flawless pop-shuv nosegrind on the now defunct Rector St. ledge (RIP). Seven also throws down some classic ‘90s style tricks for all those yearning for some baggy pant-era nostalgia, including a plethora of switch skating and a beautiful front tail to switch back crook.

Aside from the phenomenal skating, “Untitled” is able to capture idiosyncrasies and quirks of each skater in a way that feels authentic and relatable. From candid moments like Seven ripping his pants trying a nollie nose manual on an LA picnic table, to throwback clips of Patrick doing a 180 off of a homemade kicker while pushing mongo, Rodriguez gives us a glimpse into the world of skating that’s personal and heartfelt while also showcasing impressive technical skill.

“Untitled” couldn’t come at a better time; after a summer where many of us had no choice but to be far from our friends and skate spots, Rodriguez and his crew offer up a slice of virtual life that’s brimming with joy, friendship, and good times. Check out the full video above.
