Five skaters took on three urban gaps at Berlin’s Polen-Denkmal — one goal: land it clean.
From warm-up chaos to heavy slams and last-try makes, this session escalated fast. What started as a simple idea turned into a full battle against the spot.
Three levels. No room for mistakes. Final gap counts double.
The Spot
Polen-Denkmal in Berlin isn’t new — but it still hits.
Rough ground, unpredictable run-ups (especially during the cold season), and an 8-stair that doesn’t forgive anything sketchy.
Not the kind of place you “just try something real quick”.
The Format
- 3 levels
- 3 gaps
- Clean landings only
- Final level counts double
Simple rules — but pressure builds fast.
The Session
It started mellow. Flatground, warm-up, feeling it out.
Then the first real attempts came in — and it was clear pretty quickly:
Landing clean wasn’t going to be easy.
As the levels progressed, so did the risk.
More commitment, more slams, more second-guessing.
By the final gap, it was all or nothing.
Who Held It Down?
One skater managed to get the most points and take the win.
Others came close — some sent it, some folded, some just kept it chaotic (and also received a special prize).
