STREET LEAGUE SKATEBOARDING CANCEL BEIJING AND LA EVENT
THE LEAGUE LAUNCHED THEIR WORLD TOUR SCHEDULE IN JANUARY AHEAD OF THE SUMMER OLYMPICS.
With growing health concerns due to the Coronavirus Pandemic the iconic Street League Skateboarding have been forced to cancel their first two events. The first stops were scheduled to be held in Beijing and Las Vegas respectively.
The SLS world tour was announced back in January ahead of the Summer Olympics, and the points value is also contributing to the official Olympic qualification system.
2020 Summer Olympics is going to see the debut of skateboarding as an official event, and the 3 finalists are slated to go the games in the summer. However, with two events canceled, the final result and its effect on the Olympics games is yet to be decided.
