EA is Officially Developing a New Skate Game

Apparently we’re living in the golden age of skateboarding video games. Recently we got the remastered versions of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater  and its sequel and Skater XL as well. Now, it seems like we actually going to get a new Skate game from EA as well. Rumors of a new Skate game have been percolating since 2016, but nothing was in the offing. Since the last Skate came in 2010, it seemed like we were out of luck. Now, though, we have actual, tangible news. EA shared on Instagram that they have formed a studio in Vancouver that will be developing the next Skate game. The studio, called Full Circle, will be working with Skate’s creative team of Deran Chung and Cuz Parry. So if you’ve been waiting for a new Skate game since 2010, happy days might be coming your way soon.
