BIGGER IS BETTER IN SKATER XL WHEN IT COMES TO RAMPS

With all the love the Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater series gets, other skateboarding video games can sometimes get short shrift. Hey, we’re partially guilty of that ourselves. While we watch for the updated version of the first two Tony Hawk games that are due to arrive, let’s turn our attention to Skater XL. In 2018, Skater XL made a huge splash when it came out for the PC. Now, a couple years later, it’s hitting video game consoles. In fact, the digital release for Xbox One, Playstation 4, and the Nintendo Switch is coming July 28. Does this release have anything new to entice us? It sure does, and it’s something big.

Namely, they have revealed that the game will feature what they call “The Big Ramp.” This mega ramp was modeled after some of the most-massive ramps ever dreamed up. The kind of ramp that skaters use when they want to hit a 900. You are going to be able to get some major air in Skater XL when you hit The Big Ramp.
