Check Out This Real-Life Recreation of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater

Nick Heflin is getting older all the time (getting younger in his mind)

With the fancy-pants revamped release of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 selling like hotcakes for Activision, we are living in a golden era for Tony Hawk devotees that go back to the old-school days of the Nintendo 64 and early PlayStation. There’s been a lot of online content about the new game, and the old game, in recent months, and we’ve certainly been guilty of that as well. However, this new video is maybe the most fun one we’ve seen yet.

The video features Nick Heflin and was created by the duo of Eric Ward and TJ Kolesnik. Basically, it’s a real-life recreation of the Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater experience. Heflin positions himself as he’s in the game, with all the little details in place. Sure, the West LA Courthouse isn’t a skate spot in the original game, but it’s not like he could just up and get to school in Miami (or Area 51). Honestly, the whole thing is just a delight, and all the folks involved deserve a ton of credit. If you’ve played Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater even once you should watch it above.
