Danny Way Wants to Jump the ‘Trump Wall’
If there’s one thing that’s certain, it’s that Danny Way needs no introduction, but if you need a quick reminder: In 2005, Danny did a backside 360 method grab over the ‘Great Wall Of China,’ making it a world's first! Not only did he clear the wall and make the difficult trick successfully, but he also did it with a fractured ankle!
Now Danny wants to jump the ‘Trump Wall', and with negotiations between himself, his sponsors, and the people who can give the green light to allow the event to take place, maybe this is the year it goes down! Danny tried to work on putting this together in 2020 when the COVID-19 Pandemic hit, but it was cut short due to unforeseen circumstances.
"I'm not trying to get these records or whatever; it's the creativity or like the wildness of the idea, and the execution of it is like a big part of the reason why I get motivated to pursue stuff like that."
In an interview with Crail Couch, he went on to say, "I've been working with the mayor of the bordering city of Imperial Beach in San Diego. In addition, he said, "I had the political connections in Mexico, and I've been talking to the head of the border patrol. I'm going to revisit all of it right now and get it queued up. I have the vision of taking down all the political walls, and we found a spot on the Gaza strip where you can jump the wall there. Quit separating people with these walls."
