New Year, New Tricks Challenge: DOSE's latest video drop
In our latest video, DOSE's Berlin crew—Gino, Isidor, Petros, Konrad, and Mujahid—took on a special New Year's challenge: landing new tricks. The concept was simple but brutal: each skater wrote down a trick they couldn’t do yet, tossed it into a beanie, and picked a random trick to land during the session.
Since not everyone is on the same level, skaters could pass their trick to someone else after giving it their best shot. The result? A session full of determination, frustration, and progress, showcasing the struggle skaters face when learning something new.
We filmed at Berlin Messehallen/ICC Unterführung, a prime spot for a rainy day—or in our case, when it’s fucking freezing outside. From there, we hit the skatepark at Jungfernheide. The park recently opened, then closed for unclear reasons, but if you’re willing to climb a fence (or enter from the other side), you can still get in.
The challenge went on at the skatepark, with more tricks attempted and a race against the snow. This video wasn’t just about landing new tricks—it was about surviving the cold and embracing the grind.
