Vans and Berlin’s skateboarding powerhouse, Civilist, have teamed up to deliver a reimagined take on the classic Skate Authentic. Celebrating Civilist’s 15-year legacy as a cultural hub for the skate scene, this collaboration merges timeless skate aesthetics with bold artistic influence.

Design: A Tribute to Bauhaus

The collection features two distinct styles that pay homage to Bauhaus design principles:

• A sleek, monochromatic black-and-white version of the Authentic, featuring Civilist’s signature smiley logo for a clean, minimalistic look.
• A vibrant primary-colored interpretation of Vans’ iconic checkerboard pattern, showcasing red, yellow, and blue—a direct nod to Bauhaus’ groundbreaking approach to color and composition.
