Nyjah Huston Talks His 2020 with the X Games Podcast

It’s been a big year, and 2021 should be even bigger

This was going to be a huge year for Nyjah Huston and a bunch of other skaters. That’s because of the plan for the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo to include skateboarding for the first time. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, there was no Olympics, and they’ve been pushed until the summer of 2021. You’d think Huston’s year would have ground to a halt. Instead, he’s seemingly been as prolific as ever.

Recently, Huston sat down for an episode of Brando’s World, a podcast done by the X Games. Huston has been a long-time competitor in the X Games, and he has plenty of medals to his name. This would have been the 25th year of the X Games, but unfortunately it couldn’t happen. Still, the X Games made lemonade out of lemons by hosting a Best Trick Contest, which was actually won by Huston. The man can’t be kept down! In the chat on Brando’s World, Huston talks all sorts of stuff, including the postponed Olympics, how he is being productive in 2020, and much more. Enjoy the conversation above.
