VANS AND SHAKE JUNT RELEASE NEW COLLABORATION
If you are a skater, you may have seen wafflesoles in the past. However, you’ve never seen shoes quite like the ones you will find in the new collaboration between Vans and Shake Junt. While Vans is one of the icons of skating apparel, the crew at Shake Junt have a little something to bring to the table as well. They’ve taken four well-known Vans shoe designs and given them the Shake Junt treatment. Meet chicken and wafflesoles, and there’s plenty more where they came from.
The shoes in question are the Old Skool Pro, the Slip-On Pro, the Era Pro, and the Kyle Walker Pro 2. Walker is an obvious inclusion for this collab, given that he skates for both Vans and Shake Junt. These classic designs get a little adding panache from Shake Junt, including wafflesoles that give off the vibe of, well, actual waffles. When you check out the wearable merch, the chicken and waffle motif is even clearer.
