USA SKATEBOARDING UNVEILS ITS FIRST MERCH

And it showcases artist Henry Jones
CHRIS MORGAN  |

This should have been a huge year for USA Skateboarding. They were going to be one of the teams that went to Tokyo for the 2020 Summer Olympics, the first to feature skating. It will hopefully all be happening in the summer of 2021. For now, though, USA Skateboarding can help remind us of the fact they are still at it, and the group has released its first merchandise.

The offerings feature art from Henry Jones, who has done plenty of art within the world of skateboarding. This capsule includes a deck, which is very cool, two shirts, a hat, a coffee mug (or whatever you want to put in your mug), and a bunch of dope stickers. Jones’ art is kind of simple, but it still looks great. We love the way the color pops and the lettering used. The artwork features a collection of diverse skaters and a lot of broken pillars. Those pillars are intended to be anti-racist imagery, and 10 percent of all proceeds from sales will be donated to Stoked.org and the Harold Hunter Foundation. Everything else is going toward getting the USA Skateboarding team to Tokyo in 2021. Want to help out some good causes? Then head to the USA Skateboarding website and check out the Henry Jones capsule collection.
