Tony Hawk and Crew Hit Up Elliot Sloan’s Mega Ramp

There are no 900s, but plenty of fun
CHRIS MORGAN  |

Elliot Sloan’s 18-foot mega ramp has a storied history behind it. It’s a known iconic spot in the world of skating, and who doesn’t like to see a giant ramp in action? We could probably watch random amateurs hit up a ramp this size and enjoy it, but when you are watching skilled skaters it’s even better. Well, recently a skater that probably has some skill visited Sloan’s ramp. That would be the one-and-only Tony Hawk, and he didn’t come alone.

Yes, despite being 52 and the most-famous skateboarder to ever live, Hawk is still willing to get on his board, and to tackle a ramp as massive as this one. He even grinds some rails for the occasion. Hawk alone would be a fun watch, but he also had Birdhouse skaters Shawn Hale, David Loy, and the newly-married Lizzie Armanto with him. That would be a fun session to watch in any scenario, but on an 18-foot ramp? Talk about kicking things up a notch! See Hawk, his crew, and Sloan’s mega ramp above.
