THREE ETNIES SKATER TAHE THE JOSLIN VULC FOR A TEST DRIVE
Recently, we told you about Etnies’ latest show, the Joslin Vulc, named after Chris Joslin. It’s a notable shoe, because it has outsoles made from Michelin vulcanized rubber. They are talking a big game about the durability of the shoe, because they put a lot of trust in the Michelin Man. We think the shoes look pretty cool as well, personally. Are the shoes are durable as promised? Well three skaters threw on some Joslin Vulcs to show us what they’ve got.
The skaters in question are Aidan Campbell, Nick Garcia, and Barney Page, all three of whom are Etnies skaters. Each of them wear a different Joslin Vulc colorway, so you can see all three looks in action. One skating session isn’t enough to let us know how tough the Michelin outsoles are, but at least the shoes look good. And they didn’t fall apart in a few minutes of usage. That’s a low bar, but they cleared it. See Campbell and crew, along with the Joslins, in action in the video above.
