The Olympics are All In On Margie Didal
They have showcased the skater in a new series highlighting female competitors
The Tokyo Olympics are going to happen! It seems like we will finally be seeing skateboarding making its Olympic debut. In the lead up to the Olympics, the International Olympics Committee, aka the IOC, has dropped five episodes of a web series called By Her Rules. Every episode is directed by a woman and focuses on a female athlete. There are cricketers, hockey players, and more. Oh, and there is a skater, of course. That would be Margie Didal of The Philippines. Didal is clearly a rising star in skating. She’s getting a ton of love as we head into the Olympics, and if she does well she’ll almost assuredly become a superstar in the sport.
