The Brum Girl Skate Tour Edit Just Dropped

And it's dope AF!
LILY LONGRIGG  |

The Brum Girl Skate trip earlier this year was an absolute banger, which imo ended way too soon. Four days, five cities and a bunch of bails, near misses and bizarre occurrences included multiple injuries, almost not making it to a hostel in time for check in, getting locked out of another (I’m referring to you, Kira), literally seeing the end of a rainbow and a chicken roaming free around the pub grounds. With two minibuses and fourteen skaters, we started off in Birmingham at Bournbrook DIY then moved on to Roller Snakes in Derby, Flo in Nottingham, Dean Lane and M32 in Bristol then Bay66, Meanwhile Gardens and Royal Oak in London. I think by day three most people were barely able to move but after a nice yoga session on a patch of grass by the motorway services, (and funny looks from punters) we were ready to shred again.

Across the board we had a diverse age range and skaters of all levels from beginner to advanced which really helped people’s confidence and progression.

Big shout to Alice Smith (@_palice) for organizing the trip and to Red Bull for backing it up. Also to Casey Hennessy (@casey_hennessy) for filming and editing, it truly captured the essence!

Speed on over to the DOSE store to get your hands on some shirts and hoodies.
