Firstly, if their plan wasn’t to send @slyycruz into the forever box, then I don’t know what was going through his and his filmers head while setting up for, or even planning, this ‘trick.’ It’s a ridiculous spot as well as trick choice but attempting a taildrop towards the direction of the cliff edge is pretty retarded, let's be honest.

Let's just say, like this dude, you are not that comfortable or have much control over your board, even at a skatepark; then why would you head for the hills to try something as stupid as this? It can't even be labeled as a spot… Because it’s a damn cliff.

Even if a professional wanted to attempt this kind of shit, 99% of people would say don’t be stupid, and there’s a high chance that they will be convinced to step away.

Even if you aren't that skilled on a board but you, for some reason, get the urge to try something like this, you may as well just go and try the gnarliest drop-to-bank that you can find.

If you are that ballsy, at least it's a much bigger payoff if you were to actually land it. You could even get the front cover of a mag out of it, which is way better than a front cover of a local newspaper. It is a miracle that this was not the case, and the skater in the video, @slyycruz, has since posted on TikTok to let people know that he is alive and well but has had to overcome some serious injuries. However, it was said that he was using his broken fingers to fingerboard just three days later while in hospital. As stupid as this whole situation was, we are hyped to know that he is healthy and healing up in good spirits!

After TikTok removed the original upload, it was then shared on Reddit, where it remains online.
