DANNY BROWN  |

The rumors circulating about Nate Stout, a well-known and highly respected Filmmaker, are unfortunately true; Nate has sadly passed away. Nate’s best friend, Craig Lutzka, confirmed the sad news by posting the following statement on a well-known forum a few days ago:

I’d love to not believe it’s true but one of my closest friends has passed. Nate was a filmer from the Charlotte NC area that moved to LA when he was 18 to pursue a filming career. I randomly met him at Belmont High and we hit it off, later to find out we were both from NC and happened to live blocks apart in LA. From that day on we skated every day for years, Nate and I clocked 100 times more hours together filming than I’ve sat on my ass looking at this forum. If you get the time, please watch some videos from his YouTube channel I know he would want people to continue to watch the videos he has filmed and edited and tell your friends you love them every chance you get.

Nate played a huge role in connecting the scene bringing skaters together, crafting videos and bringing them to life so they can be played on our screens for us to enjoy for years to come! The least we can do is appreciate and honor his amazing work. Hit the link and watch them all!
Our deepest condolences go out to his friends and family during this more than difficult time.
RIP Nate Stout.
