After 18 strong years with Volcom, Louie has decided to move on and has let his fans and friends know with a heartfelt post that said the following;

“THANK YOU for 18 YEARS of love & support @volcomskate! Forever thankful 4 the miles & memories. Will no longer be riding for Volcom but wanted to wish everyone the best and give a major shout out to @remystratton & everyone involved 4 holding it down all these years.”

Along with the post, he included an old video from his childhood with a bunch of clips where he went on to say, “This was the footage that I sent in to try and get sponsored by Volcom when I was 10. S/O pops for filming and thank you to everyone at Volcom for believing in me at such a young age. BIG LOVE ALWAYS.”

At the moment, it is unclear whether Louie will find a place with another clothing brand or if he's even looking, maybe he just wants the freedom of being able to wear whatever he wants, or maybe there's more news to come and he starts something of his own.
Only time will tell.
