John Dilorenzo Goes Pro For Almost Skateboards
On occasion, we like to shout out a skater who has just gotten the chance to go pro for the first time. After all, it’s a dream that is hard to come by. When we were younger, we all had our dreams of what we might do professionally someday. We wanted to be in skateboarding media, so we got exactly what we hoped for. Well, except we thought we’d live in a castle on Mars. Oh well. We can keep it in our five-year plan. Anyway, back to the happy news. Skater John Dilorenzo, known as Dilo, has gone pro for Almost Skateboards.
Dilorenzo, who has a manual to envy, has truly bucked the odds. In fact, on his own Instagram Dilo posted a screengrab of a Google search that informed him the odds of becoming a professional skateboarder are less than one percent. And yet now Dilo is here. Congratulations to him, and hopefully he and Almost have a lot of cool stuff in store going forward.
