Jace Detomasso: New Spot Unlocked

The new 'Leap Of Faith' has been discovered in Miami, and its even bigger...

As we should all remember, San Diego OG spot Leap Of Faith was notoriously attempted for the first time by Jamie Thomas in 1997 and was the tallest gap known in skateboarding. And rollerblading, in fact! Since Jamie’s attempt in 1997, it was then being challenged by Rollerbladers… However, it was never successfully conquered!

Anyone willing enough to go there and throw themselves down it earned themselves the “Johnny big balls” status. Eventually, the spot was modified by construction workers who had obviously caught onto what was going down there. They made it un skate-able, and the spot was finally deemed “a bust.”

As it turns out, Miami has been hiding its very own version of it right downtown, and Jace is the first person to send it! It took him around six tries before somehow stomping it down and victoriously rolling away into an ‘Idgaf’ nollie hardflip attempt. That shit was cool!

Not only did Jace Detomasso land it and roll away, but he did it like a boss! Now there is a new version of the classic spot; we wait patiently for its next contender… Jaws, where are you!?

Here you can see Jamie Thomas & others attempt Leap Of Faith and Jace Detomasso’s recent giant Miami ollie.
