Facebook Releases Four Skateboarding Short Films

It’s all part of the Olympic push for skating

We’ve said that skateboarding was in for an explosion around the Tokyo Olympics since the beginning of the year. Granted, that wasn’t a bold claim, but we’ve been proven right so far. Now even Facebook is getting in on the skateboarding fervor as Tokyo approaches. We don’t love everything about Mark Zuckerberg’s social media behemoth, but we do like support of skating. They have created four short films that will air during the Olympics, though you can watch them now. FKA Twigs directed one about longboarding. Another is a love letter to the no comply. Tyshawn Jones gets his virtual reality on. Lastly, the skateboarding scene in Ghana is highlighted. You can check out 'Longboard Family' above, and the other three below:
