Watch Our New Video Collab with Skullcandy and Deo Katunga

And support Skullcandy’s Mood Boost campaign if you can.

We are living in uncertain times. This is the understatement of the century at this point. We’re all trying out best, and we here at Dose are working to continue to bring you videos in order to entertain you while the world gets its shit figured out. It’s also a way for us to showcase skaters that we really dig and give them a little spotlight right now. Our latest video, which is a collaboration with audio brand Skullcandy, features Deo Katunga, a skater with a lot more going on.

As you can see in the video, Katunga has skills on his board. He also performs comedy, which is something that has gotten difficult to do in the United States right now. Just ask any of your improviser friends trying to get you to watch their virtual show online. Eventually, things will normalize, and folks like Katunga will be able to get on stage – and skate with friends – without it feeling fraught.

Skullcandy is also doing what they can right now, and they are doing it through their Mood Boost campaign. Every month they are highlighting a different “mood,” and partnering with athletes and musicians to promote their campaign, as well as the limited-edition products built around each mood. A portion of every Mood Boost sale goes toward benefitting To Write Love on Her Arms, an organization dedicated to treatment and recovery to those suffering from addiction and depression.

July’s mood is “Strong,” and the color of the month is “Strong Red.” For the rest of July, you can buy Skullcandy’s Push Ultra wireless active earbuds, which you can get bundled with an exclusive 11’’ x 17’’ print from Paiheme Studio. We’re really into what Skullcandy is trying to do during all this, and we were happy to collaborate with them – and Katunga – for our latest video. If you are looking for some new earbuds, and you want to help out a good cause, consider getting yourself some Push Ultras in Strong Red. And, of course, enjoy our latest video.
