Bam Margera Surrenders to Authorities After Assault Charges

Bail was set at $50,000 for Bam
DANNY BROWN  |

Bam Margera has turned himself into Pennsylvania authorities after a manhunt was launched to find him following an assault on his brother Jesse and serious threats towards his family. This incident is the most recent in a string of questionable actions by Bam that have worried his loved ones and supporters.

Bam is now suing his brother for defamation and is aiming to evict Jesse from Castle Bam. "The reason this happened is because I read his phone saying he wants me back in California and wants to find a way to 302 me." He said, "F*ck him." Bam said.

Involuntary Commitment (302) is an involuntary commitment; it is an application for an emergency evaluation and treatment for persons who are a danger to themselves or others due to a mental illness.

"Families have disputes all the time. Every family has disputes. This isn't a dispute that should play out in the courts or the media," said attorney Michael van der Veen.

However much this may be true, Bam’s close ones and the authorities see it differently, judging by the mental state of Bam and the “terroristic” threats against his brother and his family. Bam has been released on bond after bail was set at $50,000.

A preliminary hearing for Bam has been set for 25 May in Pennsylvania court, which was confirmed by police.
