11-Year-Old Skater Killed After Colliding With A Car

RIP Avery Stark
DANNY BROWN  |

Waterboyz Surf and Skate Shop are rallying for the family of an 11-year-old Pensacola boy who died following a devastating collision with a car last week. Avery Stark was riding his skateboard last Wednesday when he was struck by a vehicle at Wright Street in Pensacola. Avery was taken to the hospital in critical condition; he was in ICU for a few days and died just a few days later.

Avery’s much cherished Skate Shop posted the following statement via Instagram. Bearing in mind, this post was made before Avery passed away, but immediately after the accident, he was in ICU at this point. So, although Avery is unfortunately no longer with us, we can see just how much of a positive impact he made on the people who met him and how much he meant to the local community.

As mentioned above, unfortunately, Avery did not make it and has now sadly passed away. However, donations are still accepted and will most likely help cover the funeral costs. If you wish to donate and show some love for Avery’s family, here is the link. Every single small donation counts. RIP Avery.
