If it feels like the X Games just happened, you aren’t wrong. They took place a couple of months ago in Chiba, Japan, but these days the X Games is not merely a one-off event. No, another X Games competition in 2023 is happening in California. In this era of touring skateboarding competitions and Olympic qualifying events, stuff like the X Games isn’t just a few days over the summer anymore.
The X Games has put up the full run of the Real Street Best Trick competition, spoiler-free at that. The way this event works is 10 skaters hit the streets – the real streets – for a 60-minute session. It’s everybody going at it at once, with judges on hand to rank the competitors. The best run was picked for each skater, and then the judges ranked those best runs one through 10. That’s a pretty cool way to do it. Who won? Watch and find out!
