Vuarnet Shows Appreciation for Dogtown’s Z-Boys with Limited-Edition Capsule
Inspired by the skate squad wearing the brand’s sunglasses
The French eyewear brand Vuarnet has introduced its most recent Summer 2021 collection, labeled “Dogtown”. The capsule pays tribute to the Z-Boys, a skate crew from the “Dogtown” area of Santa Monica, California.
The collection offers a limited amount of cotton hoodies and T-shirts. A retro styled V covers the front of these pieces in both, yellow-and-blue and pink-and-blue.
Additionally, the capsule contains Dogtown sunglasses with a limited amount of 100 pairs.
Each pair of sunglasses features its own unique serial number. Their shape is a reference to 70s skateboard designs with a curvy, oversized structure.
The Vuarnet Dogtown capsule collection will be available in stores and on Vuarnet’s website from July 1.
