Velenje WRT Skateboarding Bowl Street Finals 2025
The kids took over in Velenje, proving once again that the next wave of skateboarders is already here. In the Bowl Girls Finals, it was 12-year-old Olive Newman from the UK who stole the show, claiming first place and earning the Golden Ticket for all World Rookie Tour stops in 2026. She was followed closely by Teresa Havlikova and Jolana Stepanova, both repping the Czech Republic. On the Bowl Boys side, 10-year-old Mattia Murroni from Italy went all-in, landing tricks like Backside 540s and Kickflip Indy Grabs to secure his own Golden Ticket and light up the park.
Over in the Street Finals, the Girls division saw a tight race between Irene Panzavolta (Italy), Unna Peltolato (Finland), and Pippa Mestdagh (Belgium), with barely anything separating the top three. Panzavolta ultimately came out on top, taking the win and another Golden Ticket. In the Street Boys showdown, 14-year-old Pacal Teixeira from Portugal dropped a perfect run to claim first place and triple up with three Golden Tickets for international WRT events. Belgians Beau Brunclair and Francis Cotton rounded out the podium.
All weekend long, Velenje turned into a showcase of what’s next in skateboarding — a mix of creativity, style, and fearless progression from riders who are just getting started.
