Vans Debuts the Fabiana Delfino Collection
Florida gets a lot of shit as a state. However, not everything that comes out of the Sunshine State is lame. Take, for example, Fabiana Delfino. Anybody who has seen her skate knows that she’s a credit to her home state. She’s also a proud Floridian, and that’s clear in her new collection for Vans. This is the first collection that Delfino has ever put out, and Vans went all out for her.
The collection is built around a color that is apparently called “oil blue,” but you could also call it a teal or a sea green. Whatever you call it, we’re into it as a color. The showpiece of the Fabiana Delfino collection is the Sk8-Hi Pro shoe, which also features some black and white. Many of the pieces in the collection also include Delfino’s trademark palm tree and alligator logo. In addition to the shoes, Fabiana Delfino’s collection includes a polo shirt, a short-sleeve tee, a long-sleeve tee, a backpack, a hat, and some crew socks. Even if you aren’t from Florida, you might find something to dig in Delfino and Vans’ collaboration. Everything is for sale in the Vans shop now. Maybe you can wear something to Disney World. Or to ride a fanboat through the Everglades to try and find those pythons that people keep as pets but then release into the wild when they get too big. Never change, Florida.
