Tyson Peterson has a New Collection with Vans

How to create a collection that appeals to skaters? How about getting a skater to design it? That’s what Vans has done. Tyson Peterson, one of the skateboarders on the Vans team, is the creative force behind Vans’ upcoming “The Wayvee” collection.

There’s a lot in this collection. We’re talking some colorful socks, black corduroy cargo pants, and a few things you can wear on the top half of your body. What’s most interesting to us, though, is a brand new skate shoe silhouette. The shoe is, fittingly, called The Wayvee, and is a low-top shoe mostly in black with some hints of red, yellow, and green. The colors feel almost like flames. These shoes were designed by a skater for a skater, which means they should be durable and comfortable. Peterson’s collection is hitting some Vans retail stores on August 5th.
