Trent McClung Puts His Grip Tape Through Hell

It takes a company with some confidence to let a skater put your products through the wringer. Mob Grips is one of those companies. They didn’t just put their grip tape to the test I the hands of Trent McClung. They filmed it and released it in the new video Grip It & Rip It.

Watching this video, it’s pretty clear that McClung is specific about his grip tape. Who can blame him? It’s not the most-glamorous part of your setup, but if your tape isn’t up to the task you’re pretty much screwed. Given how many tricks McClung is able to nail in Grip It & Rip It, it seems like Mob was indeed up to the task. Judge for yourself in the video above.
