TONY HAWK WILL TEACH YOU SKATEBOARDING
Tony Hawk has been popping up a lot recently. That’s not too surprising. He’s the most-famous skateboarder to ever live, and he keeps himself busy. However, he’s not too busy to teach you how to skateboard. Not personally, of course, but through the company known as MasterClass.
If you aren’t familiar with MasterClass, they offer video tutorials for all sorts of different topics. You can learn standup comedy from Steve Martin or learn acting from various actors. You can either pay for individual classes or pay $180 for a year pass that lets you take any of the 80-plus classes they offer, and they are all available to stream.

This is the first skateboarding class they’ve offered, and naturally Hawk is doing the teaching. There are 16 total classes in the lesson plan, ranging from a class simply on the ollie to more advanced stuff. On top of that, MasterClass and Tony Hawk have a “Best Trick Challenge” contest going on featuring skaters like Hawk himself, Bucky Lasek, and Lizzie Armanto. You can vote on those on MasterClass and Hawk’s social media channels. Or, you know, just take the class. You will be able to say Tony Hawk taught you how to skateboard without it being a lie!
