Tom Rohrer Teaches You How to Nollie

Tom Rohrer has been skating for 20 years, and he’s popped up in videos over the years for different brands, and has racked up a sponsor or two. He’s also, for many years, had a channel on YouTube called Tom’s Tutorials, where he delivers tips and instructions on how to improve your skating and your tricks. In his latest video, he’s dropped a video on how to nail your nollie.

Rohrer has worked at skate camps and delivered lessons over the years, so he’s got that teaching sensibility down. If you’re a sports fan, you know the best coaches out there tend to be the athletes who were good, but not great, and didn’t necessarily rise to the top of their world. They have the same knowledge, know-how, and technical awareness, but maybe lacked that innate skill level that the true elites have. They also tend to be more attuned to what they are doing, so they can pass that knowledge on better. Which is to say, Rohrer’s tutorials can deliver, and the nollie is a nice place to start!
