Some Ways to Stop on a Skateboard

Because crashing isn’t the ideal way to do it

Since it’s Tuesday, we figured you might enjoy some video content. You’re back to work but still yearning for the weekend. You need a way to ease yourself back into productivity. We get it. We’re the same way. You should see how much time we spend watching videos on a Tuesday. Many of them are still skateboarding related, of course because it’s a passion for us. Dose dropped a new video yesterday, but if that’s not enough, here’s a video that can maybe help improve your skating skills.

Everybody who gets on a skateboard and takes off eventually stops. It just doesn’t necessarily always go great. When you are new to skating, a lot of times you stop by falling off the board, maybe with a little awkward stumble, maybe with a straight-up tumble to the pavement. If you are trying to improve your skills, here’s a video that promises you 10 ways to stop on your skateboard.

Some of them are obvious and basic, but a little tweak to your technique could still help. We’re all still improving as skaters, after all. Plus, if you’re new to skating, this could be really helpful. Then, there are slightly more complex techniques for a skilled skater. Maybe you only, truly need one or two ways to stop on your board, but after this you’ll have 10. Hopefully, it’ll mean less wiping out. See, you aren’t just wasting time on a Monday. You’re learning! Well, you’re learning if you watch this video.
