Here's What Went Down at The ‘HACKED’ Premiere in Berlin

Mahalla played host to Vincent Heller's 'Hacked' video premiere on Saturday, where there were a few surprises before and after the video premiered.

Firstly, there was a skate jam consisting of various obstacles that were generously provided by our friends over at Mellowpark, who had built them for the local spots and allowed us to borrow them for the event, even helping with transporting them to the venue. (These obstacles are now safely returned to their spots).

Shortly after the jam, everybody was guided down into the basement, greeted with a small theatre room. As everybody found a spot to sit, stand or even perch on some industrial piping, they prepared themselves to be 'Hacked,' and the 30-minute video then began to play.



Starting with Martin Schurig's manual combo, which by the way, was a great choice for the opening trick because, just like the event itself, nobody knew what to expect next. You will see for yourself just how unpredictable and combo-crazy Martin's manuals are. Then right after the 'Hacked' Video came to an end, Vincent kindly paid homage to Giles Brown, who is a friend that had also premiered a Berlin-based video recently and was given the opportunity to run his 'Juice Gang' on the same screen for a second premier which was most enjoyable, especially in the now 'hot-boxed' room.

Even if you don't happen to be a skateboarder, both videos were tasteful and entertaining. Full of good vibes, great filming, dope music, and a lot of bangin' tricks! Just when you thought it all came to an end, there was a bar/club revealed next to the theatre room where everybody was welcome to stay and party until the early hours of the morning.
All in all, it was a unique, dope event and, without a doubt, one to remember!
