Stefan Janoski and Elissa Steamer Just Want to Fly(leather)

And they did last year in London for Nike SB!

We’re glad Stefan Janoski and Elissa Steamer got to visit London last year for Nike SB. It might be a minute before they can do that again. They weren’t just there to have fun, either. While they were there they paid a trip to the factory where they make the material for “Flyleather” shoes. If you aren’t familiar with “Flyleather,” they are made from at least 50 percent recycled leather fibre. It’s a great way to reduce, reuse, and recycle. Cartoon owls have got to be happy about it.

Nike SB has a signature shoe called the Janoski Flyleather, so it only made sense for the man himself to visit the factory, and then to put the shoes into action. Janoski and Steamer picked up a few local London riders – Casper Brooker, Kyron Davis, and Korahn Gayle – to hit the streets of London in Flyleathers to see how they work. Hey, who says shoes can’t be green but also durable and, well, fly? Sorry, we just used slang from the ‘90s. We had to do it for the pun. Put that behind you by watching the video right now.
