SKATER XL CONSOLE RELEASE DELAYED UNTIL JULY 28
Personally, around these parts, we are big fans of the Tony Hawk Pro Skater series of games. As such, when we heard that they were going to drop a new game that was a revamped version of the original two outings from the series we were super excited. Of course, we also accept the fact other skating games exist, and that’s totally cool with us. There is no feud going on here. If you were excited for Skater XL to hit consoles, that’s fine with us. The PC version of the skating game was quite well received. Unfortunately, those of you who have been eagerly counting down the days have to wait a little longer. Skater XL has seen its release delayed.
What is up, guys! We just wanted to let you know that 1.0 will be launching on July 28, a few weeks later than the original date. Despite our best efforts, and due in part to things out of our control, we will be moving the launch of Skater XL 1.0 on PS4,XB1, and PC to July 28th pic.twitter.com/OaRw2n21DL

Easy Day Studios, the people behind the game, took to Twitter to say that the delay is due “in part to things out of our control.” Given how insane the world has been recent, that’s totally fair. It also means that you won’t be able to get Skater XL for Playstation 4 or Xbox One until July 28. Previously, it was supposed to arrive on July 7, so a little math means this is a three-week delay. That’s for those releases. The new date for the Nintendo Switch version has not been released yet but will arrive in due time. Until then, may we recommend dusting off your old Nintendo 64 to play the original Tony Hawk Pro Skater?
