NIKE SB JAPAN TAKES PART IN THE CAHOS DERBY

Yeah we can’t explain it either. You probably just need to watch it

Some skateboarding videos are quite straightforward. Others are a little harder to describe. Take, for example, this new video from Nike SB Japan. The company’s Japan team are at the center of this new video, which is called Toyosu Park Chaos Derby. Some of the skaters featured in the video include Keyaki Ike, Ryo Motohashi, Taihou Tokura, and Toru Yoshida. Beyond that, trying to explain this video is a little tricky.

The event took place at the newly-opened Tokyo Sport Playground Plaza, and they were there for the Chaos Fishing club event. They call it a derby, which makes us think of roller derbies and demolitions derbies. The park also looks like something out of a ‘70s dystopian sci-fi film about a world where skaters compete in events where the loser dies. That or it looks like what somebody on an acid trip would think of when it came to a skatepark and a skating event. What we’re saying is that you probably should just watch the video and enjoy. We can’t really say anything better than that.
