Prague Will Host The Mystic Sk8 Cup From June 30-July 7
Skateboarding fans, mark your calendars! The epic Mystic Sk8 Cup is happening from June 30 to July 2, 2023, on Štvanice Island in Prague. It's one of the biggest skateboarding events in Europe and draws skaters from all over the world.
This year, over 150 talented skateboarders from around 15 countries will battle it out for World Cup points and a whopping $33,000 prize. The competition is part of the prestigious World Cup Skateboarding series, making it even more exciting.
What's cool about the Mystic Sk8 Cup is the sick venue. The skatepark on Štvanice Island is covered, so rain or shine, the show goes on. There are also grandstands that can fit up to 1,500 fans, giving you the best seats to witness mind-blowing tricks and stunts.
But it's not just about the competition. The event has tons of activities for everyone. The Relax Zone is where it's at, with a big screen showing the contest, workshops, and updates from the skateboarding world. You can geek out on all things skateboarding and learn some new moves.
And the party doesn't stop when the sun goes down. Each night, there's an awesome lineup of live bands and DJs to keep the energy high. Sick Of It All, the legendary American hardcore band, will rock the stage on Friday. On Saturday, get ready for the hip-hop vibes of Smif-N-Wessun, straight outta Brooklyn. And Sunday wraps up with a killer performance by grime star Smack.
