Monster Energy Uses Drones for Its New Video

Get a bird’s eye view of a skateboarding session

Drones can be annoying, sure, but they can also be useful and used for some cool stuff. They have the potential to really help skate filmers get creative, for example. This is not merely theoretical, though. Monster Energy has put drones to work to help them shoot videos. In their latest, Mirador II, Monster Energy heads to the shores of the Mediterranean to get some skating in. Gabriel Fortunato, Kevin Baekkel, Jorge Simoes, and Marek Zaprazny are doing their thing on the ground. Meanwhile, director and editor Marco Savino is using a drone to capture it all from angles you almost never get to see in skate videos. Check it out above.
