Berger became a Flip pro in 2015 and spent the next few years filming and touring hard. His work ethic took a toll on his body, culminating in a complete surgery. With little visible cartilage left in Berger's knee, he decided to inject cadaveric cartilage.
In 2008, in a decision that shocked the global skateboarding community, longtime skateboarder Arto Saari announced his decision to leave Flip. Not unlike Arto Saari, Berger was bound to leave flip at some point too, but with a new journey ahead of him, we're excited to see what he'll do next.
