KAITO SAGAWA IS UP BEFORE DAWN IN NEW VIDEO
If you are a night owl, you are used to having the sensation of being one of the last people up in your neighborhood. It’s been dark for hours but you’re still awake. If you go out in the world you might not see anybody. The streets are empty. You can stay up watching TV in a peaceful world. Of course, if you’re a night owl, then you miss out on the experience early birds have. They too often have the city to themselves. The world is just starting to open up. It’s quiet and peaceful. Go to a store and you have it to yourself. Or, conversely, you could skate board during those dawn hours like Kaito Sagawa did.
The 22-year-old CONS skater is the star of the new short movie Silent Rider. Before dawn even breaks, Kagawa hit the streets of Tokyo to skate. Yes, Tokyo, Japan. One of the biggest, busiest cities in the world. In the early hours, though, it’s a completely different city. It’s fascinating to see Sagawa get to have the city largely to himself. Sure, some of us could never imagine being up early enough to do that. We were too busy closing down the bar the night prior. Or we were just up watching Nailed It! on Netflix until three in the morning. Whatever time it is where you are now, watch Silent Rider right now.
