With Joe Hill being one of the first pros to come out of Ireland, it's probably fair to say that the 31-year-old Derry boy, freshly relocated to Berlin, has seen all there is to see on his run through the skating-world. From breaking free of skating Irelands micro tiny skate scene, to skating as a pro in some of Europe’s most prominent cities, all while running his own skateboarding company. While his pro status is one many aspire to, the struggle is real and as he tells us, his path has by no means been straight forward.

Sharing the status as Berlin locals, Dose Skateboarding couldn’t miss out on the chance to link up with one of Ireland’s finest. So we donned our hazmat suits on and hit the streets for a, what someone recently described as a ‘rona sesh. Joe navigated us through some of his favorite Berlin spots while talking going pro, getting motivated,  VIA skateboards and future plans.
