HEITOR DA SILVA SKATES IN SECLUSION

Peace and quiet (and grinds)
CHRIS MORGAN  |

Most skate spots are in the middle of a city. You just hit up Google Maps (or whatever you use, sorry for dropping a brand name but it’s the generic choice at this point) and you arrive at your destination. Not all spaces for skating are so early to find, though. Some take a little work. For all we know, there’s a ramp somewhere in the middle of the Amazon jungle left by some ancient people who were super into kickflips. Did the Mayans like to ollie? Palace has a new video called Rampant, and it takes us to a place just a bit off the beaten path.

Somewhere in seemingly the middle of nowhere, apparently there is a ramp in a nice little clearing. Surrounded by nature, Heitor da Silva makes the most of the wooden ramp dropped in the middle of the woods. If you’ve ever wanted peace while you skate, hearing nothing but the sound of your board going up and down the ramp, this could be the perfect spot for you. All you need to do is find it first. Maybe da Silva can give us some hints? Or maybe you sleuths can figure out where it is just by watching.
