GOPRO AND MACBA LIFE JOIN FORCES FOR MINI-DOC

Get ready for a look at the legendary Barcelona skate spot.

If you know anything about European skating, and we’re guessing you do, then you’ve almost assuredly heard of MACBA Life. The plaza in Barcelona is a Mecca for skaters. Basically anybody who is anybody in European skateboarding, regardless of what country they call home, has stopped by MACBA Life to skate. As a person on the internet, you are also probably well aware of GoPro cameras. They are those little handheld mini-cameras that you can say, slap on a helmet for a first-person view of somebody going skiing or hang gliding or, duh, skateboarding. Also sometimes, like, a bird will steal one and then drop it later and you get a wild video.

Well, GoPro and MACBA Life have joined forces for a short documentary about the plaza. The movie, called Short Story, features a bunch of different skaters taking their turn to skate MACBA. Like, there are so many skaters involved we don’t want to start naming them because we’d be leaving out at least a half dozen notable names. Of course, the action is all being shot with GoPros, giving you a view of skating that you don’t always get in videos. A short story is indeed a brisk watch, so there’s no excuse for not giving it a viewing.
