GET TO KNOW SWEDEN’S ALEX ELFVING

When you think Sweden, you might think hockey, Ikea, or girls with tattoos of mythological creatures. You might not think skateboarding. However, now it may be time to change that. Alex Elfving is still a pretty new name on the skating scene, but soon enough everybody is going to know him. He might even be able to become the Mats Sundin of skating. Want to see what Elfving is all about? Then this video could be a great introduction.

The video comes to us from Free Skate Mag, who brings us this kinetic short film that would make Ingmar Bergman proud. Elfving has a clear talent on the board, and we look forward to seeing some more of him. It’s enough to make us want to go to Sweden to skate. Maybe we’ll pick up some meatballs while we’re there.
